Section 3A
Private sector can be granted license to operate postal service
: (1) Notwithstanding anything written in other sections of this Act, the Government of Nepal may grant a license to any person or organization to operate postal service operated in accordance with this Act subject to the prescribed conditions.
(2) According to sub-section (1) if a licensed person or organization does any work contrary to the conditions to be followed or this Act or the rules made under this Act, such person or organization shall be liable to imprisonment for up to five years or a fine of up to two thousand five hundred rupees depending on the amount of the offence. or both will be punished.
